da fuck is a “boofer” kit?

It’s a medical kit with tools that can help someone who has sustained a traumatic injury. The items inside are powerful and potentially life saving; there’s way more to this thing than bandaids and little plastic tweezers. This kit was developed by paramedics, EMTs, and BASE jumpers and designed to be worn while you’re jumping so the tools inside are accessible when you need them. Although this was developed for BASE jumping, the BFR kit can easily be thrown in a backpack for any activity where there’s potential to smack the earth real hard, especially when those activities bring you into the backcountry.

It’s $160 bucks. For every kit sold, BASE First Responder, LLC makes a donation to the Moab BASE Association.

If you want to buy a kit, ask me a question, or tell me a story then just send me an email. Thanks for checking out the website, please enjoy the image of Mr. Popko thinking about doing something.
